T- Learning improve 3Rs
in Literacy
Teaching numeracy and literacy to pre primary pupils needs creativity and improvement of learning environment (class). Therefore, By using T - Learning Model, children will be able to learn numbers, sound and names of letters as well words will be easier. Children will be given opportunity in a competitive way and funny to identify numbers and letters and allowed to insert in T learning tree.
1. Teacher will introduce letter/number cards to pupils example vowels a,e,i,o,u
2. After introduction of vowels will put them on the table where every pupil can see and reach.
3. Teachers will sing a song and spell a vowel and ask a child to repeat.
4. Teacher will ask any pupil to identify and pick the spelled letter/number on the table.
5. Pupil will be required to pick the correct vowel and teacher will ask pupils if the selected vowel is correct
6. Pupil will be required to insert the vowel in T - learning model whereby all pupil will clap hands for him/her and repeat to other pupils.
