English hour is meant to address the challenge of students English illiteracy, In two days within a week we will have an English hour where students will learn various English words, sentences, discussion, English debates and other funny activities. some days teachers will lead students to learn virtually through radio or TV where they will watch or listen to English conversation and students will have to remember the key conversations for role plays. They will also learn grammar, they will combine with sports to capture their interest in the subject.
Organize youth to have exiting sitting arrangement, then use 5 mins to introduce the topic of the day, show a demo so that everyone can be confident to do it. create the atmosphere where everyone is comfortable. Let everyone participate and as the teacher facilitator you should facilitate in a very energetic and funny way. keep altering the students creativity, team work, confidence, critical thinking and other skills.
