The environmental and recycled materials learning method focuses on using materials found in the environment and recycled materials as teaching tools. This method helps students strengthen their skills and knowledge through hands-on and creative experiences. The main goals of this method include increasing creativity, reducing educational costs, promoting a culture of recycling and environmental protection, and strengthening critical thinking and problem solving. Using simple, handmade materials, such as plastic bottles, wastepaper, cardboard, and disposable items.
Making letters and words: Using recycled paper or plastic bottle caps, we make letters of the alphabet and then use them to make words. This method helps students visually and tactilely recognize letters and words.
We assign students to create short stories using pictures from magazines or newspapers and then read them in class. This activity strengthens students' reading and writing skills.
