In order to assess students' conceptual understanding of mathematics, I encourage them to ask as many questions as possible about the concept they are learning. The whole class praised those students who ask more questions. It really helps not me to assess students conceptual understanding in mathematics and provide them with feedback

First, i introduce a mathematical concept to the students. Then give them tasks to complete for practice. During and at the end of the session I provide time to the students to ask questions about the concept they are learning.
