Geras - outdoor learning
Subcategories and tags
Geras is an outdoor learning concept, learning outside the classroom, intended for students to participate in building the curriculum. The concept works across the curriculum with active learning, learning by doing, developing creativity/problem solving, resilience, critical thinking and mutual help between peers. Geras aims to provide students with increasingly holistic approaches, to be a facilitator of the development of creativity, exploring imagination, seeking happy learning, so that students are more predisposed and interested in learning.

What kind of results to expect?
We hope that our students grow up in healthy and challenging environments, full of joy. And that they develop fundamental life skills, such as resilience, autonomy, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving/creativity.
We want students to become involved in their learning, ensuring that they enjoy learning more.
We want students to feel happy, and therefore more interested and willing to learn.
And that the school is not only a space for knowledge, but also a fun, pleasant and playful place.
